SOP on Hygienic Behavior at Working Place
1.0 Purpose: This SOP describes a procedure to maintain the hygiene at work place.
2.0 Scope: This SOP applies to the all the Production Staff working in the company.
3.0 Responsibility: Production Supervisor to ensure that procedure is followed.
4.0 Materials and Equipment: None
5.0 Procedure:
5.1 Food and Drinks are not allowed to be consumed in the manufacturing, packing, storage and laboratory areas. This includes the chewing of Paan, Betel nuts, Sweets and Chewing gum etc.
5.2 Smoking is not permitted in any processing, storage or laboratory areas. “No Smoking” signs are displayed in prominent position at points of entry to these areas.
5.3 Food, drink and smoking materials are not allowed to store in manufacturing areas and in any other area where they might adversely affect product quality.
5.4 Staff is trained to keep working areas clean.
5.5 Ensure that staff keeps their lockers neat and clean.
