SOP on Personal Clothing

1.0 Purpose: This SOP describes the protective cloths to wear in the production area.

2.0 Scope: This SOP applies to the operating staff working in the manufacturing area.

3.0 Responsibility: Production Supervisor to ensure that procedure is followed.

4.0 Materials and Equipment: Apparel such as head, face, hand and  sleepers.

5.1 All the persons before entering the manufacturing area are changing the street cloths and foot wears.

5.2 Clean working garments and protective apparel such as head, face, hand, and shoe are worn as directed.

5.3 Protective garments are not worn outside the factory premises. The practice of going out into the streets and back to the place of work in the same factory garments is prohibited.

   5.4 Protective cloths are clean at all times and changed regularly after laundering. Damage to protective cloths is repaired immediately.
