SOP on Personal Cleanliness

1.0 Purpose: This SOP describes the preventive measures to be taken to control the contamination.

2.0 Scope: This SOP applies to the personnel working in production area and quality control.

3.0 Responsibility: Production Supervisor to ensure that procedure is followed.

4.0 Materials and Equipment: None.

5.1 Staff is advised and encouraged to have regular baths and to change their underclothes frequently.

5.2 Nails of persons working in the production areas are regularly trimmed.

5.3 Staff is encouraged to keep their hair short in order to minimize the hazards of contamination through hair.

   5.4 Hands are cleaned regularly in particular after visiting the toilet.

   5.5 The wearing of costume jewellery and use of make up is discouraged.
