SOP on Calibration of Photofluorimeter
1.0 PURPOSE
The purpose of the standard operating procedure is to provide guidelines for calibration of Photofluorimeter.
2.0 SCOPE
The scope of this standard operating procedure includes the calibration of Photofluorimeter.

4.0 PROCEDURE
4.1 On the instrument 15 minutes before starting the calibration.
4.2 Make dilutions using fluoroscene in 0.1 M NaOH (1ppm, 2ppm, 3ppm and 4 ppm).
4.3 Use 0.1M NaOH as blank and set the instrument on “0 “with blank knob.
4.4 Set the instrument at ‘20’ with 1ppm solution.
4.5 Take the readings at 1, 2, 3 and 4 ppm without touching any of the knobs.
4.6 Standard readings for above mentioned concentrations:
