SOP on Operation of Powder Pouch Filling Machine

1.0 Purpose: This document describes the procedure for operation of Powder / Pouch Filling Machine

2.0 Scope: This SOP applies to operating staff and operations of Powder / Pouch filling machine.

3.0 Responsibility: Production chemist to ensure that procedure is followed.

4.0 Materials and Equipment: 

 As required.

5.0   Procedure: 

5.01 Switch On the mains of machine.

5.02 Switch On the heaters and set the temperature 2100 – 2200C.

5.03 Fix the foil rolls on machine.

5.04 Set the printing stereo with overprinting details.

5.05 Run the machine to check the sealing and overprinting quality.

5.06 Adjust the quantity of powder to be filled and check for uniformity of weight.

5.07 Start the operation of filling and sealing.
